Location Recording
COBRA Music Studios are specialists in location recording with choirs, orchestras and brass bands, as well as working with smaller ensembles. We work with organisations across the United Kingdom with our state of the art mobile recording rig, and bring the audio back to our recording studio at the Riverfront Theatre and Arts Centre in Newport, South Wales for post production.
Location recording can be a fantastic way to produce your album, and this is what we recommend to choirs, orchestras and brass bands across the country. As with most ensembles, there is often that one place, that one concert that you performed in, that sticks with you as being ‘one of the best’! The acoustics of the venue can be a huge factor in this, and recording in a space where the acoustics naturally complement a performance not only make for a better recording, but that ‘one of the best’ feelings, makes your ensemble feel much more comfortable.
We have created comprehensive recording packages that are complete with digital distribution to the likes of Apple Music and Spotify, as well as CD duplication if this is still of interest to your audience. We also take care of your album artwork design, copyright licensing and all of the mixing and mastering.
