Cowbridge Music Festival 2025

What a week at Cowbridge Music Festival!

I’ve just wrapped up an incredible few days providing PA, technical kit and live sound for a seriously varied lineup of talent. Here’s a whistle-stop tour of the highlights:

  • Monday – Cowbridge Town Hall with the mesmerising Elaha Soroor, joined by Giuliano Modarelli and Sulaiman Haqpana – a beautiful start to the week.

  • Wednesday – over to Holy Cross Parish Church for the powerhouse trio VRï (Patrick Rimes, Jordan Price Williams and Aneirin Jones) bringing the walls alive with sound.

  • Friday – some sizzling rhythms with Tango Calor – led by bandoneonist Mirek Salmon, with the incredible Daryl Kellie on guitar and the sensational Jimi Can on vocals.

  • Sunday (matinee) – Cowbridge High School hosted Welsh of the West End (Celyn Cartwright, Mared Williams, Steffan Hughes, Siwan Henderson), accompanied by the legendary David George Harrington. What a dream team!

  • Sunday (evening) – we rounded things off in style with Katherine Rees and The Siglo Section, who closed the festival with a bang.

None of this would have been possible without the amazing team behind the scenes – so a huge thank you to: The festival for bringing me on board, Richard & Amy (producer + photographer dream team!), Joe & Rosie, the brilliant Artistic Directors and every single volunteer – especially the amazing Tessa & Pete, who kept me powered up with Welsh cakes!

It’s honestly one of the most wonderful weeks of the year – surrounded by the best people and the most inspiring musical community. Having worked with Cowbridge Music Festival for the past few years, I can honestly say it’s always such a joy. Huge thanks again to everyone involved for making it such a truly lovely experience.
