Wilder Pentwyn Farm
We worked with Radnorshire Wildlife Trust to create a bilingual self-guided audio walk around Wilder Pentwyn Farm, bringing the site’s wildlife, habitats and changing landscape to life through narration, original music and recordings captured on location.
Available in Welsh and English, the trail was designed both for visitors exploring the farm and for people who may not be able to access the site physically. By capturing the real sounds of Pentwyn, from birdsong and flowing water to the wider natural soundscape, the experience can also be enjoyed from home, allowing listeners to hear and connect with the landscape wherever they are.
The project brought together the knowledge of Radnorshire Wildlife Trust staff and volunteers, with the finished script written and narrated by bilingual actor Tobias Weatherburn, original music by Toby Hay, and complete recording, editing, sound design and production by COBRA Music Studios.

01 / EXPLORE We start by getting to know the site, the people and what makes it special, along with the route, your audience and what you’d love visitors to discover.
02 / SHAPE Working closely with your team, who know the place better than anyone, we shape the stories and build a trail that flows naturally from one stop to the next.
03 / RECORD We work with your staff, volunteers and local community to capture the voices and stories that belong to the place, alongside the real sounds of the location itself. We also work with musicians to create an original soundtrack shaped around the character of the trail.
04 / CREATE This is where everything comes together. Voices, stories, location recordings and original music are carefully woven together with immersive sound design to create a rich, polished audio experience that feels completely rooted in the place.
05 / DELIVER Your finished audio is mastered, organised and ready to go. Host it on your website, link to each stop with QR codes, add it to an app or use it within your existing visitor experience.
