A Saturday spent on the road to Newbury 🚗🎶

We headed over last weekend to record Soul Reason, led by their MD Maia Hendrickx — and what a super lovely day it turned out to be (as expected)!

There’s something really special about recording a group in a space they’re familiar with. Everyone’s relaxed, comfortable, and just enjoying making music together — and that always comes across in the sound. And honestly… they were incredible. Such an incredible group of singers, performing some absolutely awesome pieces with real energy, style, and musicality throughout.

It didn’t take long before everything settled in — smiles, a lot of laughs, and some seriously great takes going down.

A huge thank you to Maia and the whole of Soul Reason for such a warm welcome and a genuinely enjoyable session.
